My article questions:
After rereading the news article summarized in the blog post, I chose blog number four about Tiktok's family pairing features. However, I realized “Where does the news outlet come from?” By researching on google, National Broadcasting Company or well known as NBC news is an American-English television and radio network. NBC employs dedicated reporters who frequently cover the same subjects, and its reporting is neutral in tone. However, I feel conscious that according to the NBC news rank from thefactual.com indicates NBC is neutral, so a part of my following question is “How can reporters explain the differences and similarities of people’s experiences?” One possible implication is that the writing tone, which can assess how opinionated the writing in an article is, such as first-person pronouns and pointless adverbs similar to bias by omission, as well as the emotional resonance of particular terms, and determine how common they are over the course of a specified text length. Additionally, I wondered “What ideas or perspectives are left out in this news article?” I thought the article is missing out of children’s opinion or how they would feel about TikTok newly security protected by their parents or parent’s took their privacy because the news only mentioned family pairing settings without children's perspectives.
